Ohio department of education Scholarship PROGRAMs
JON PETERSON SPECIAL NEEDS Scholarship Program
Grand River Academy is excited to announce our participation in the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship program through the Ohio Department of Education.
If your child has a finalized Individualized Education Plan (IEP) from their school district of residence, they automatically qualify for Ohio Department of Education’s Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship. This state program gives parents of children on IEPs the choice to send their child to a specialized educational program other than the one operated by their public school. The student must also have a current IEP from the district of residence that is finalized and all parties, including the parent, must be in agreement with the IEP. The amount of each scholarship is based on the category of eligibility identified on the student's Evaluation Team Report (ETR).
Your child is eligible to apply to participate in the program when the child is eligible to enter school in any grade from kindergarten through twelve, and if the child meets all other program eligibility requirements.
Feel free to reach out to GRA with any questions regarding the JPSN Scholarship. Contact our Admissions Team at admissions@mattulat.net or 440-275-2811 to learn more!
